iPhone 4 Burned During Battery Recharge
For the first time there have been reports of an iPhone4 burned during use. Boy Genius Report site launch, Apple’s latest smartphone was on fire when the battery was recharged from the computer via USB. This incident led some cable USB cable to melt and left burns around the connectors.
The report referred to come from sources within AT & T. After the incident, theiPhone4 owner is going to the AT & T service center and ask if the damage can still be repaired or not, although clearly that the iPhone cannot be repaired. The owner is trying to ask for compensation for what happened to his iPhone4.
“The owner was sure that his iPhone4 was burned while doing re-charging from a computer via a USB cable that supports this device. The owners want to swap the burned iPhone with the new one,” wrote Boy Genius Report.
The iPhone owner said that the iPhone four of his burning around the antenna and the surrounding areas get very hot. According to AT & T, Apple is denying there was a mistake on the part and blame the store that sells has a defect and a USB cable that is not compatible. However, there has been no official report of the incident.
Burning incident was not something the first time experienced by the output of Apple products. In recent years many cases the products Apple announces that causes a lot of excessive heat and cause burns. Last March, a mother was about to sue Apple for an iPod Touch exploded in the pocket of his 10 year-old son and resulted in the child suffered second-degree burns. The explosion caused the iPod Touch material to melt.
