Intel is reportedly will soon stop production of the series named Celeron processor at the upcoming 2011 year. According to a source at DigiTimes, Intel will begin to not producing Celeron gradually from now until the next 2011.

It was also mentioned that Celeron that has been present since the year 1998 will soon be replaced by a newer processor, with an undoubted quality.

Intel Celeron is already known widely as the cheap version from the ranks of other Intel processors. And Intel needs to rejuvenate the image that already inherent in Celeron.

There are so different news circulating, and apparently made Intel couldn’t stand it anymore. This semiconductor giant denied that the processor will be lost on the market until next year.
